AFFORDABLE FASHION TRENDS THAT I'M LOVING FOR SPRING 2018

If I said I was a major fashionista, that would be a lie but due to my highly skilled abilities to window shop and screen shop (window shopping online LOL 😂) I have slowly started to observe what has been trending and which trends I think suit my sense of style and also personality!


1. The Patterned Silk Scarf

Like always, in the fashion world, trends tend to repeat themselves and this trend is definitely one that I am here for. The colorful patterned silk scarf is such a fun way to liven up your outfit in a way that screams Spring but also gives you a touch of old school glam. The scarf itself is so versatile, depending on the length it can be worn as a belt or hairband or you can even use it to accessorize your handbags and backpacks. Stores like Bimba y Lola have such an amazing selection of scarves to choose from  but if you want the look for less, Stradivarius has come out with a plethora of affordable scarves to choose from.

2.Graphic/Slogan Tees

No outfit beats wearing a pair of shorts, trousers or jeans and your favorite tee but why not wear a tee with a message? I think this year I have been seeing soooooo many slogan tees with quotes ranging from silly to empowering. I love the idea of letting your tee do the talking!These tees can be styled up or down, just do what suits you best and if you're not into quotes, there are tons of other tees with quirky images or ones that just give you all your childhood nostalgia, whatever it is, I am here for the tee! You can get these types of tees basically everywhere from Forever21, Bershka or even ASOS.

3. The  2-Piece Suit  

I don't know if it's because I'm lazy or what but I love the ease of putting on a 2 piece suit and this year I have been seeing so many of them in different fits and colors.I love the relaxed but chic look of a 2 piece suit and you can definitely style this to give yourself a more casual appearance or that put together executive look. Another good thing is that you can mix and match parts of the outfit, the pants with one look or the blazer with another, the possibilities are endless with this combo which makes it such a versatile piece to have in your closet.Zara is my ultimate go to for this type of outfit because the quality and the range is endless, ASOS also has a large selection of suits!

4. The not so high colorful heels

This trend has to be one of my favorites, just for the sheer fact that it's such a struggle for me to walk in heels. No, seriously, I probably walk like a baby penguin 🙈. So when I started to see these bold, brightly colored heels that I could probably walk in, I was ecstatic! My go to store for this would definitely be MaryPaz but Zara also has a stunning collection of shoes that fit the description!

5. The Color Yellow

I don't know why but everywhere I turn I am seeing yellow *cue coldplay yellow*. I absolutely love it, such a bright color that well...brightens up your look, your day, your mood, everything! It is the perfect color for not only Spring but Summer as well, You can pair it with so many other colors and it will give you such a fun look!Yellow is definitely everywhere from your head to your toes! Look out for it in stores such as H&M and ASOS to get a variety of hues of yellow in an even greater variety of styles.
