So I know the term is a bit cringe but let's be real, it's a thing. Cafes with great interior design and food presentation where people just line up in order to take an instastory or post is real and it's here to stay. So if you are in Madrid and looking for some cafes to spruce up your feed or end up on influencers in the wild, this is the post for you!

1. SALON DES FLEURS 

I absolutely adore this cute little café that doubles as a flower shop. Everything inside is so dainty and makes you feel like you are having tea right out of a movie set. 

Speaking of movie sets, did you know that they filmed a Netflix movie here? Check out the movie "A pesar de todo" if you want to see the cafe on the big screen!

2. COCO MOCCA 

This list absolutely could not exist without having Coco Mocca on the list. It is the definition of on Wednesdays we wear pink haha!

Although not in the most central area of Madrid, this café always has people lining up to try their pastries as well snap an instastory!

3. CAFÉ COMERCIAL 

This is the café you go to when you wanna feel like you're in Paris sipping on your coffee and eating a freshly made croissant. 

Although the inside is beautiful, the terrace is the real reason this place made the cut!

4. BLOOM BY SALVADOR BACHILLER 

Think Pink anyone? This place makes you feel like you have just fallen down the rabbit hole and ended up in wonderland. 

It's the ultimate tea party for adults and is definitely one of the most instagrammable places in Madrid to date.

5. LOLINA VINTAGE CAFÉ

Talk about blast from the past! This café really lives up to its name. The decor gives off a really groovy 60's/70's feel and makes you wanna boogie down! Ok that's too many disco references, I'll stop 😅😅.

6. DELPHINA SERRANO 

I'd like to call this the hidden gem of Madrid. I feel like not a lot of people know about this place and how is that even possible? 

This place gives off real high tea vibes. It makes you want to drink tea with your pinky up vibes. You get where I'm going with this?

7. EL JARDÍN SECRETO BY SALVADOR BACHILLER 

If it's one thing Salvador Bachiller is known for, it's definitely their amazing decor. They pick a theme and stick to it and this place is no exception. 

It's honestly as if you opened the closet but instead of Narnia, you arrive here. It literally feels magical.

8. LA DUQUESITA 

The best description for this place is a bit of Paris in Madrid. Not only is it aesthetic but it is one of the best boulangeries/ patisseries in Madrid and I personally can vouch for that. 

If you are in Madrid, even if it's for a short visit, it is definitely worth a stop, but be prepared to wait a little since it is so popular and always buzzing with people.

9.  MAISON MELIE 

Keeping on theme with a bit of Paris in Madrid we have Maison Melie. I love this place, the front half feels like a fancy Parisian Patisserie whereas towards the back is like a chic trendy restaurant. 

When you go make sure to try the macarons or the pain au chocolat aux amandes!

10. CRISTINA ORIA ORTEGA Y GASSET

Another lovely option if you are looking for a chic and modern style café. From the decor to the cutlery, everything stays in theme and creates an atmosphere that makes you feel like Audrey having coffee before she goes shopping at Tiffany's. 

Honestly, the colours just bounce off of the black and white cutlery. BTW, is it me? or those plates are giving off serious Kate Spade and Chanel vibes?

11. EL INVERNADERO BY SALVADOR BACHILLER 

Have you ever wanted to have coffee in a greenhouse? Ok no, me neither but that was until I saw this place. Once again, Salvador Bachiller is giving us instagram worthy places and this one is no exception!

12. EL JARDÍN SECRETO (CONDE DUQUE)

Ok so I know I already put one secret garden on this list but hey there's room for two. First of all, when I went to this place there was a line to get in even before they opened. That's just to tell you how popular it is. 

This place is so eccentric but interesting. The decor and art will have you staring, observing and analysing for hours!

13. CAFÉ DE ORIENTE 

If you're around the city centre and happen to pass by Opera, you have to check this place out. It gives off such a royal palace vibe and it helps that it is also close to the actual royal palace, coincidence? I think not!

If you can get a seat out on the terrace, make sure you snatch up that opportunity because it is worth it and honestly, who doesn't love a bit of people watching?

14. SUCRE SALÓN DE TÉ

If you're looking for a cute and dainty cafe before or after a stroll in Retiro or a visit to the museum, this is the spot for you.

15. EL PERRO Y LA GALLETA 

So this place took the idea of being a "dog person" and literally ran with it. If you love dogs as much I do, this is the place for you.

The decor is dog chic themed hahaha, is that even a thing? I guess so. Also, I don't know how they managed to capture the scent of the maria cookies and make the entire place smell like it. Honestly, I am not even mad at it. 

They have several locations all around central Madrid but each of them promise you the same dog loving theme and good coffee!
