ECO FRIENDLY PURCHASES TO MAKE IN 2022
Over the past few years I have been trying to be a bit more conscious of the things I buy and the waste I create. Little by little I am incorporating small changes that could work towards being more eco friendly and sustainable. Hopefully you guys see this and are inspired to do the same!
1. Bamboo Cutlery
I love this little bamboo cutlery set that you can just take with you! It comes with all the utensils you could ever need with a straw and straw cleaner included. No need to use disposable cutlery anymore!

2. Reusable Cloth Tote Bag
3. Adjustable Silicone Covers
4. Organic Menstrual Cup
For all my girls who are willing to try a different alternative to tampons and pads, the OrganiCup is a great option. It's made from silicone and can be used for up to two years! If you are interested in learning more about this, click here. If you are interested in purchasing one, click here.
5. Solid Shampoo
I first saw these from Lush and I was intrigued and of course, like any other product, it takes some getting used to as well finding what works for you! The good thing is that now more and more companies are making them and they are creating more options for different hair types!

6. Reusable Produce Bags
You know how some groceries allow you to choose your own fruit, bag and weigh them and print the sticker with the price? Ok well with these reusable bags you can do all of that except skip the part where you use the plastic bags for each fruit and vegetable that you purchase.
Also, if you turn the bags inside out and use them as a glove , you won't even need to take the disposable plastic gloves either!
I bought mine at Carrefour but you can find them here.
7. Reusable Bamboo Cotton Pads
If you're like me and you use cotton pads often, these are a great investment to make. I use this mainly for applying my toner but you can use it for your nails or to remove makeup. It is made from bamboo cotton and comes with a little mesh bag that you can put the discs in and then pop it in the washing machine and dryer!

8. Reusable Water Bottles
Although I'm sure most of us have one of these lying around, it is always good to mention it from time to time. Water bottles are the way to go, if you boil or filter tap water and fill it up, you'll be good to go and not only will you save money but also reduce the amount of plastic you accumulate from buying endless bottles of water.
