5 GAMES I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2019

2019 is set to be an amazing year if you are into the world of video games. The various genres of games that are said to be released in the following year is enough to keep any avid player anxious and impatient. Below. I have listed (in no particular order),the 5 games that I'm looking forward to play next year!



1. JUMP FORCE 

Available Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC

Release Date: February 15, 2019

Ok...I know I said that the list would be in no particular order but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't the most excited for this game! I mean if you know me, you would know why! It's the best of both worlds, a fighting game based on our favorite anime characters? UM...YES PLEASE..TAKE MY MONEY!

Published by BANDAI NAMCO ENT, this game allows you to fight as your most beloved anime protagonists, including characters from One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball Z and more! From what we have been seeing, the graphics look great and even better, the cinematics! The fight scenes are fast paced and flashy and the dialogues seem like scenes from an epic crossover episode! Without a doubt, I'm getting this bad boy!

2. KINGDOM HEARTS 3

Available Platforms: PS4, Xbox One

Release Date: January 25,2019

How long have we been waiting for this game? The last Kingdom Hearts was released in 2005, so basically 14 years??? I think we have suffered enough! KH3 is the follow up to KH2 and once again we join Sora,Donald Duck and Goofy on their journey to defeat an evil and dangerous power known as the Heartless. Not only do we travel through both Disney and Pixar worlds but we are also joined by various beloved characters from Big Hero 6, Hercules, Toy Story, Tangled, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Monsters INC. etc.

Seriously, this game is going to make my inner child come out and not to mention the nostalgia. I don't even know in which world (maybe the Pirates of the Caribbean one hehe) I'm gonna have more fun. Either way, once again, TAKE MY MONEY!

3. RESIDENT EVIL 2 - REMAKE

Release Date: January 25,2019

Our favorite (and oh so terrifying) survival game is back and scarier than ever! A remake of the 1998 Resident Evil 2, we have to once again try to escape Raccoon City with officer Leon and college student Claire. Besides having improved visuals and effects, we have been blessed with changes with respect to camera angles and more up to date controls. RE2 is back with more mysteries to solve and areas to discover. So get your weapons ready guys, it's zombie killing time!

4. DAYS GONE 

Available Platforms: PS4

Release Date: February 22, 2019

What would you do if the world had been plagued by a pandemic that not only has killed millions but left others as infected zombie like creatures called Freakers? Would you stay in one of the safe zones or go live your life on the dangerous outside? If your answer is to go out and stare death in the face, then this just might be the game for you. Days Gone follows bounty hunter and biker Deacon as he fights his way through this post-apocalyptic world. Bearing some similarities to Last of Us, Days Gone offers great graphics and a large open world and from what we can see, non-stop excitement. Besides looking bad-ass, it promises to keep us hooked as we fight for our lives.

5. ANTHEM

Release Date: February 22,2019

Coming to you from EA, Anthem is one of my most anticipated games. If you're like me and you like RPGs where you have to team up and fight against outside world threats while donning customizable gear called "Javelins" then yeah..this game is for you! This game definitely gives off a Destiny vibe, so if you're into those genres, then you might definitely wanna give it a try. The game has both a single-player and multiplayer (up to 4 players) mode where you can team up to defeat monsters. So far, from what we've seen, the graphics, sceneries and game play are beyond stunning and it definitely looks to be one of the best games of 2019!
